  Katsunori Hamanishi
  Katsunori Hamanishi was born in Hokkaido, studied at Tokai University, Tokyo, and now lives in Kanagawa Prefecture. Hamanishi is one of the many young artists in Japan today who have explored the rich, dark, three-dimensional effects possible with the old European mezzotint technique.
